Florida has a tremendous number of theme parks. These are concentrated in the Orlando area. Unsurprisingly this is the result of other companies following the Walt Disney Company to Orlando.
After the creation of the Walt Disney World theme park and it's tremendous success, other parks sprung up creating a concentration of appealing tourist destinations. There are now many extremely large parks as well as many other minor parks in the area. This isn't even to mention the smaller attractions that dot the area.
